Email hello@kangarooislandtours.net. We answer in English, usually within two working days.

We are a booking guide, not a tour operator, so we cannot change, cancel or refund a booking. That goes to the operator through the site you booked on, whose contact details are on your confirmation. If you cannot find them, write to us and we will point you to the right place.

If your tour was cancelled, or you missed the start

A refund or a new date is the operator’s to give. Your confirmation email carries their contact and your booking reference, which is the fastest route. Most tours listed here refund in full if you cancel at least 24 hours ahead; the overnight trips from Adelaide need 6 days, and the 75-minute safari is non-refundable.

The ferry is the commonest thing to go wrong on a Kangaroo Island day. A late or full boat can cost you a tour that starts on the island, and the ferry is booked separately. If it happened to you, give the operator the date, the sailing and the time you landed, in writing, the same day.

Corrections

If a fact here is wrong or out of date, tell us what and where. Park alerts change, roads close after rain and operators move their pickups, and the fastest fix is usually a reader who has just been. Every page carries the date it was last checked.

Where the official information is

The parks on the island are run by the National Parks and Wildlife Service South Australia. Seal Bay Conservation Park has its own visitor centre, which is the best place to ask about the sea lions and the paused beach access, and the Flinders Chase Visitor Centre serves the west end.
